But I thought you might like a reply since nobody has answered your question. I do have one thought... You can download viewers from the microsoft web site. I have done it for people to view a powerpoint presentaion that I have made. I have also downloaded viewers for Word 97 & 2000. In fact, you can make the viewers downloadable right from your site, they are free and the file sizes are not too bad.

How about exporting the databse into a text file, and accessing it with a simple Perl script?

not a bad idea, but the company i'm working for has something with MS products. :( I'm thinking ODBC now... have any suggestions for me?

BLAME THE FIRE WALL! well, not in this case... i've discussed it over with one of the consultants and i will keep everyone posted on what turns out. the reason this is complicated is the dynamic and hidden values that are posted to the access database. trust me on this one

time to take down the intranet!hehehe
