the American Disability Assocation requires alt tags on images, and users browser default for text font and size. I've been pushing to get some flash in use on our site, but every time my ideas are shot down because they are not ADA compliant. Does anyone know of a way i can keep the ADA happy and still have my flash?
thanks

hmmmnn...thats a good question. I haven't seen a good working model for alt tags yet. Seems like the best way is to put some content in between <noembed> </noembed> tags. Here is an article that macromedia put tou on the same subject:

I'd be interested if you find a way to do it. But, since flash is so visual......I am not sure how well it would go over.

i checked the link you gave me and found there were some good points and bad. if i did a site completely with flash it would not work. however if i individually add each active flash element by doing a slicing effect i can set alt tags to each of the defined links. i'll be checknig with the boss's later this week
thanks!
