I'm using Windows XP Home, and I was wondering, how can I add a separater to the 'All Programs' menu?

Thanks.

I don't beleive you can. you could in NT4 but I think they got away from this. I will ask around as I don't use XP.

don't know sorry.

I don't use the start menu, to tell you the truth - why have an icon and windows driven desktop and then use a glorified program listing?

No this isn't possible. Unless it's released in Windows 2005.

Longhorn isn't scheduled for release until 05???

oh, and what you want MIGHT be possible using a theme... they do seem to edit windows a lot. but i can't varify that, so dont quote me on it.

A theme of sorts will do it... have a look at www.deviantart.com under skinning down the left side menu... You can add a shell to many OS's and that is what you need to do.

Here is a screen shot of mine from a while back.

it uses Aston Shell, you have to pay for it after one month but it kicks ass.

When I read a magazine article some time ago, it said Windows 2005 was going to be a server OS like Windows 2003.
