I am relatively new at working with Frontpage and recently got put a the position of doing our company website - I know almost nothing about frontpage, which is more than anyone else. Anyway, we have two forms that we wanted people to be able to fill out & submit, but they don't work because of some to do with Frontpage server extensions & incompatibility with our host. I looked on the Microsoft site for information about this, but I really don't understand it. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

Hmm... You should talk to your webhost to see if the webserver support Frontpage.

u have to install the server extention on the web server itself. contact the web server administrator to verify whether the extention have been installed. if u r using NT(on web server), u must at least install service pack 4 or 5.

I have some (painful) ........ experience on this subject.
In my case, after many E-mails between my ISP and myself, it boiled down to this......

YOUR ISP
Lets assume that in this case your ISP may well have MS FP Servers extensions installed on their server.
(You must confirm this with them)
In all likelihood they will be running Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions SR1.2, for Microsoft Windows-Based Servers.

YOUR SOFTWARE
Check which version of MS FP you are using. Open FP and go to ‘Help’ – ‘About’
If it doesn’t show SR-1 (near the bottom of the ‘about’ window) then you will need to Upgrade Office to SR1 level. For example: Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a)

MORE INFORMATION
More information can be found at MS. See link below:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q261/9/71.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=Cannot%20run%20the%20FrontPage%20Server%20Extensions%27%20Smart%20HTML%20interpreter%20on%20this %20non-HTML%20page%3A%20&rnk=3&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=FP2000

Prior to uploading, any form you are editing in FP will most likely show
[FrontPage Save Results Component] in the form, even when viewed in a browser. Once you have uploaded the form that should disappear and the form should work correctly.
You will also be able to have the results mailed to an e-mail address if you select ‘Send to’ in form properties, and enter the address in the box provided.

Best regards
