Help!

Hey guys,

This just started a few days ago. It seem to only happen when I use my dial up connection. I used my recover cd but it is still doing it. After I close the box seen below, it
shuts down my computer. Any ideas?

exactly what i thought.

That msblast virus is damned annoying! my grandad's got it.
we deleted the files, attempted to download the security fix from MS, but the connection is fuggled, so we restart, and then the virus is installed from remote source again...

the computer will only restart if the code was bad and you are online. the code is bad when you have an XP machine and it tried to downlaod the worm for a 2000 machine and vice-versa. you have to download the patch first from another computer and then download stinger (fits on a floppy) and run that without going online with the infected computer.
