Wow, it's certainly big and bold! I do like it but maybe the title at the top takes up too much of the page. You don't want to push all the main content off the bottom of the screen where possible.

I think the background image is a bit too busy, and Godilocks is right, the top is a bit dominant of the page. Other than that, it looks pretty good!

The words arnt clear, but its nice.

Looks good, as Goldilocks said it is quite big and quite bold. I don't know if it really matches the Crucible's persona, though. The tech looking background might good for a gaming or tech site, but I don't know about the crucible.

As for the words not being clear, they look fine to me, make sure you expanded the shot.

Otherwise, good job! :)

i think that you should widen the "Recent Forum Activity" table area thingy a little bit. the text in it right now seems really really squished.
