I need a more reliable host...fast!

do you guys have any suggestions? ( I know this has been covered before, but i also wanted to use this as a warning rant against using the host I am on now, with no liable accusations or anything like that)

So basically what i need is not insanely priced, perferably unlimited bandwith, a decent amount of space, and more importantly...RELIABILITY...

my host right now is so unreliable, it made me cry once...
First, the server got hacked, and that happens...didn't do much damage really, just had to re upload the first page...
then about 2 weeks later, their backbone died, and I lost EVERYTHING!! they didn't have backups of anything...I lost all my mail, every file I had on the server...sure I had the html backups, but I had program files and stuff on there...

now my mail isn't working...it takes 3 days for an email to get anywhere, and I am not recieving around 45 percent of the email I should be...and the worst part is, is that it can take up to 3 days for support to get back in touch with you, if they do at all...I am not going to post the hosting company on here, because I am not a spiteful person, but if you should wish to avoid this host, then feel free to IM me on AIM and I'll tell you...

one thing that stood outn in what you're after is 'unlimited', i imagine you know the problems with unlimited guys!!

I love my host. Very reasonably priced. They're really good about providing whatever I need. Except quick customer support. :rolleyes: And I know it sounds weird that I still love them, but I rarely need customer support. The uptime is good. Been there since Jan and have only been down twice, for less than 12 hours each time. I won't hit all the details but you can check them out if you wish.
