I've just been requested to partner with a site which, in and of itself is extremely flattering. However, this is a bit different than partnering I've done in the past. This would involve selling someone else's product on my website.
Since many of you in here are much more experienced at this sort of thing, I am wondering what your take is. I will, of course, check out that product as thoroughly as they will allow me to and would reject it if it appears it is more competition or worse, something I disapprove of. That part I can handle, what I'm not certain about is the actual selling of a product that isn't with an affiliate. Does this work? They are claiming some people have made $10,000 in one year selling their product. Now, one thing I have learned about the net is that many will lie to be impressive. I have heard of people saying they have over 10,000 newsletter subscribers when in fact, they only have a few hundred. I do not ever wish to lie or distort the truth to my advantage, rather I wish to be completely honest and upright with those I do business with. I'm feeling a little funny about this. On one hand, I wonder if I could be passing up an opportunity. On the other, I wonder if I'm being party to some B.S., to be blunt.
Thoughts anyone? thanks! :)
