The developer of all of these sites (free web templates, big resources and the rest of them).
You really shuld make a choice between the heavy graphics in the design and banner advertisements. I am on an ISDN line and still having trouble downloading.
I find that the pop-up banners are very annoying.
I used to visit your site a fair bit but rarely now at all.

hmmmnnn....I am on ISDN and I have no problem. Even at home on 56k, it seems to load well.

I do volunteer work for 123webmaster.com and I am on 33.6 and I have yet to have a problem loading or downloading.

Hi "Guest",
The network sites have always been graphic heavy (this is nothing new). Can I ask why this is causing a problem suddenly (you stated that you use to visit the sites often). Thanks for your input.

I use a 56K modem and have NO problem loading BRN sites or graphics.
One thing I don't like, however are the pop-up ads that you have on almost every site. I agree with guest about that :)

Good news on this front. Big Resources *may* be teaming up with a larger company. If/when this happens, all pop-up ads will be removed instantly (and if it does happen, it will probably be no later than 2 months fro now). However, in the meantime, taking into consideration the state of the market (I'm sure that most of you are familiar with the major banner CPM decline that seems to get worse by the day) the only alternative to not running pop-ups would be to close up shop, and go work for Microsoft or Yahoo.

I know what you mean!
I've had plently of bad experiences with CPM advertising.
Want to know how many clicks 100,000 impressions gets you?
The answer is not many!

As for the BRN popups, they're not that bad, at least they only appear once per visit, unlike the popups of the Net3Media Network (http://www.net3media.com) which are really bad.

It was bad when I used DSL but when I changed to Cable, it returned to normal. My ping results were:
Minimum = 274ms, Maximum = 293ms, Average = 281ms

How long ago did you use DSL? We did have some networking problems a while back.

About a month or two back, before I changed to cable.

If this was around Feb 1-7 it was a temporary issue which has since been solved. During that time period, a member of httpcity was using over 50 gigs of bandwidth a day hotlinking to illegal files, in conjunction with this, we had found problems with the configuration of some of our network components.

ok, being a webmaster of a free web host, I understand needs for many ads, but freewebtemplates.com goes way overboard and drowns. Before it joined bigresources it never seemd to have this problem, but all of a sudden, it becomes bigresources and ads appear every day.I liked it better when it was a little site. I still like it but it needs to cut down on ads and be updated.

Hi cfhosting,
Please see my recent reply here in response to these concerns:

I have noticed that somedays HTML forums gets kind of slow. To post a message you have to push the post button a few times. This is just a temporary problem that doesn't happen very often, but when it does it gets very annoying. Am I the only one with this problem? BTW I'm on cable.
TThanks,
Paul

I know some of the moderators including myself have also had this problem. Some days I cannot post at all to certain threads.
As for loading this site, I have no problems whatsoever at work over a LAN, or at home on a 56K modem.

What is the big resources server's connection to the internet and where is it, I think the one server does all of the network sites. My ping rate is quite.

I don't really think it's a conncetion problem, I think the servers are overloaded. These servers host hundreds of sites and take up lots of CPU usage and lots of bandwidth. If they have enough money maybe they could get a new server. I'm not saying this would be an easy task for them, maintaning a server costs a lot of money and really need good advertisers to pay for all this.
