I changed the "new post" and "old post" icon - your thoughts please !

Hi changed the images for the new and old post to Edison ( the htmlforums logo) do you like it better, or was the old ones better. I have the old ones backed up and can be replaced at a moments notice. Whats your thoughts ? thumbs up, or thumbs down.

I do no think there is enough contrast between the "on" and the "off" images. I think one of two things needs to happen.

#1: The "off" icon needs to be recolored to a pale gray.

- or -

#2: Do not have an icon at al next to a forum when there are no new posts.

Personally, I would like to see #1 happen.
