After months of grueling auditions and eliminations, Pegasus and Horus_Kol have passed all the rigorous tests and have the right stuff to become moderators of HTMLForums. We all look forward to their participation in making this one of the best forums on the planet. (modesty prevents me from saying the best forum on the planet). :P

Congratulations Peg and Horus!
When do we get to see the audition tapes? :D
Does this mean that Horus can delete my posts when we cross swords again? :P

why would i do that? then no-one would be able to see why you're wrong :P
thanks for the congrats.
the audition tapes are being burnt - they are too horrible to distribute.
I will always be mentally scarred from the experience... tck, tck, neeeeerrrrgggghh.
Cheers, again, and happy postings (keep my job easy please ;) )

They can moderate in any forum, like all modertors, but their names will eventually be listed as mods for specific forums. Feel free to toss tomatos at them in any forum :P

congratulations you two :)
does that mean that some mods that have been inactive for a while will be retiring?

Audition tapes? You want to see them? <sigh> I dunno. I just couldn't seem to get the "diplomatically bland" expression right. I kept giggling.
But after playing first base for so long, I did okay in the "throwing the tomatoes back" test. Well, I *did* hit something, didn't I? Just 'cause it was Kevin and not the target... Sorry about that. Your shirt came clean okay?
Morrow, I think they're still looking for proper sized cages for us. We'll be listed eventually, I'm sure.
Thanks, everyone, and I'll repeat Horus' request. Go easy on us. ;)
Peg
~who is going to diplomatically refrain from making comments on Kevin's modesty.... :D

Well done you two. Gotta say you two have been the most diplomatic folks on the threads for a while. Well done and hope we don't give yall too much of a hard time. Big up to ya's.

Congrats Horus and Peg, your positions are well earned and some what over due, nice to have you as part of the family :). I'm sure by the response seen here so far that you have the support and respect of the members and I wouldn't worry to much about asking them to go easy on you. (not when you have you finger on the "delete member" button...hehe). Well done and congrats again.:rocker:

Been a moderator is a great honour. I think you guys have made the right decision as they are both great members.
Congratulations to both of you, this will make HTMLforums even better.

What about some moderators like Austin Powers, Dave Swift and whkoh? I've been a member for four months and I've never seen one post by them.
EDIT: Excuse me! It seems like whkoh has returned recently.

Austin said something about an "important mission" and Dave's brother, Tom, has roped him into helping him build another rocketship. At least, that's what I've heard. ;)

Yeah people change. I used to hang around here 4 hours a day. Then I became busy with work and now I usually only stick around when there is help needed in the graphic area an I'll check the lounge once in a while. This is not to say HTML forums is worse than it was before, these forums are a great community and I enjoyed being here since day one 2 years ago. People like scoutt, kevin, and countless of other members have helped me with many problems I faced along the way and I tried to do the same in return. Without these forums I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am now and it's the helpful members here that made that possible.
