Hi Dave,

There's plenty of bargains out there, what's your idea of a good buy?

Well the guy I'm currently talking with is offering
50,000 impression at $2 CPM - Total Cost: $100, and he has 1,000+ unique visitors a day.
So if you can offer better than that, email or reply.

You might want to look into something like Commission Junction, and offer something like 3 cents per click. Then you can contact sites that are targeted, and ask for a link using the program. It is usually a small thing for them to add, and at least they make a few bucks from it. It's one of the best ways to guarantee traffic.

Well to join Commission Junction there is a one-time $795 Network Access fee, plus a $595 Annual Renewal Fee that is payable at the end of one year contract. as well as a deposit of a minimum of $250 into an escrow account with Commission Junction, which will be used to pay my Affiliates.

So that's almost $2000!

Hmm..I didn't realize their fees were so high, clicktrade use to be good, all they had was a comission percantage. Have you looked in to http://www.clickxchange.com ?

Well clickXchange charge a minimum of $100 dollars for their pay per lead program, which I can afford. But I was wondering, how much should I charge per click?
}:-)

2 cents might be a good start to see where it gets you. Once you have a few hits coming in from that, you might also want to quickly engage in some link barters, to keep your traffic levels up. It's easier to get some link trades if you're already getting traffic, and reciprocal linking is one of the fastest ways to build up your traffic.

Thanks, Jason, but I think for now I'll stick with my current advertiser.

Well, I'm looking to advertise my new (almost finished) webmaster resource site. So if anyone runs a similar site and is willing to run banner ads for cheap, drop me a line.
