New Site..

There are many other forums I could have put this in, but I decided to cram it in to the General Discussion Forum:
If you (any one reading this) where to build a brand new webiste, what would be it's content? What are the most popular sites now?
I'm looking to build a new site, so any tips on what it should be about are welcome.

PS: Please can no one say 'Make a site about what interests you' as I've tried and failed with that many a time :D

I'l give you an idea that I have been thinking of making a web site for, but have put on the back burner. Since I live in Colorado, there are lots of fourteen'rs (54 mtns over 14,000 feet in Co). I have hiked some of them, and thought it would have been nice to have some firsthand info on the trails, recent hiker feedback, and general hiking info pertaining to the exact mountain.
This same concept has been developed... something like http://www.hikecolorado.com but the last time I checked...it wasn't a very good site, containing only mediocre info.
You could adapt this idea for any number of things....mountain bike trails, off road 4wheeling, snowshoeing trails....whatever.

If I could drop these shackles, I'd start up a humor site most likely. They can become popular quickly, and it's fun doing it (I've seen that you ahve already beguna humor section on one of your sites). At any rate, there's tons of stuff that I believe has been "underdone", such as funny sigs, funny tech related stories, etc. There's plenty to do with it, and there are tons of people that don't mind contributing.
