There is a link on the site that says "critique my site" - you can click on that to fill out a quick survey of the site or come here and leave comments. Whichever is easier for you.

Thanks!

Very plain, but nice. I'd like a logo at the top of your page.

Remember that it is best to enclose all your tag attributes in quotation marks, i.e. <body bgcolor="red"> instead of <body bgcolor=red>

Borders around pictures are also nice. (You can do it using CSS)

I like your photo...:D

I think the Aardvarkland site is very good because it does what it says, explain information about aarvarks, and then adds some extra things as well. The layout is very easy to understand, the color scheme is good and the text seems to be proofread well. The pictures next to each navigation link are cute and fast-loading.

The only problem I had was trying to take the aardvark quiz (I bet I would have failed, oh well), in Internet Explorer 6, it didn't show the whole thing: the window stopped at the third or so question and had no scrollbar, which was strange. As for a little bit of advice, I think it's not really necessary to have a Google search on the page. Anyone can go to google.com, but your page has something unique that is found nowhere else. Overall though, I think it's a very cool site!

very nice design
very suitable for reading
I like the left menu bar's background picture
just change the text color ot the menu bar to a different and brighter color, for example, yellow, that will make it more readable with the blue background
9/10:D

Thanks for the comments. I removed the google search.

I don't like borders around pictures, which is why there are none. :D

Also, regarding the font colors... I have tried other colors and they don't look right with the blue background. I am not sure what color would look right. I like the dark blue, but I am aware that it gives some people trouble, depending on browser/platform. Any ideas? One thought I had was to lighten the background, but I have no clue how to do this.

Finally, what difference do the "" make? I am not trying to be rude, I really want to know! Because it will be a lot of work to go through all the pages and make sure everything is in quotes so I want to know how it is affecting the page. Thanks.

Some browsers ignore, or choke on, any attribute values that are not in "quotes".

Remember to "Quote" all attributes, especially all "#FFFFFF" colors, all URLs, all "50%" sizes, and any other attribute value that contains anything other than a simple "A" to "Z" or "0" to "9" value. In HTML 4.01 it is recommended to quote all attribute values.

Run your code through http://validator.w3.org/detailed.html to find any other problems.

I like your site. You made a point up front and the entire site supports the argument. In now way is it difficult to navigate or confusing (like Microsoft.com's lala land of cyberspace techno junkie jargon equiped with links that take you in circles until you finally click the "X" in the top right hand portion of the screen ). Fun subject to play with.

Take care.

I changed the logo a bit. I think it looks better now. I am getting the hang of Photoshop and such a bit more now...
