Make Today's Day Text Red

I wish to post date sensitive material in a table showing upcoming events. I understand that I could make today (eg. Sat) show in a different text colour. Assistance would be appreciated.

Neo: That will make all text red but I wish to make the word "red" only on the relevant day. (eg.
