no, an ad muncher will kill any ads within a page. it just shows blank space. and if you see an ad that it didnt pick up, you can drag it to the trashcan within the ad muncher program and it will block that ad next time you visit. its very usefull for browsing mp3 sites and warez boards.

Go to http://www.adsubtract.com it's free, but I don't know how good it is.

Or you can pay $15 after the 30 day trial and go to http://www.admuncher.com

I tried AdMuncher 4.18. It disabled Javascript when I uninstalled it. If you want to try it, be sure to uninstall properly.

I think Adsubtract pro do good work for you , pro version support IE 5.5 kill all ads , pop up , bg sound , js , don't play gif , cookies... it's good coz it just takes a little Ram of your PC

Another program is Atguard 3.22 , WRQ software . it has all adsubtract has , plus , it has a small fire wall for you and auto start when you connect , it keep track of various statistics as you surf the web, like how much data you've downloaded and how many cookies you would have sent back to web sites , prevent software from communicating with your computer or with remote computers without your knowledge or permission . But sometimes it crash when disconnect in slow PC

Surely, some ads won't kill? Webmasters need to live too.
