Ok, I have had enough.

I have spent thousands on advertising and I always end up being "stooged". Obviously advertising isn't my forte.

Now, I KNOW that there's someone here that can help me. I am a web designer. I am also Paid FULL time to do SEO work. ..but once again, when it comes to handing over $$$ for peoples "schemes" it never gets me ANYWHERE!

I mean, SEO knowledge is good and all, but it takes weeks and months to be effective.

So, here's the situation:

I have a GREAT website/service, offering the best deal online (or pretty damn close to it). It's 110% legitimate and well constructed. It's a top quality service and I am in a HUGE hurry to get it under peoples noses. I don't have money to spend on advertising (I freakin' spent it all), and I want to BLAST it out in front of tens of thousands of people.

If anyone can show me how to do this, and it WORKS I will send you US $2,000 - I ain't paying nothin' for words and schemes and impressions and all that garbage. I know that the site will sell. I know that the service is disgustingly under priced. I know that THOUSANDS of people want it. Give me advice on how to get a site under peoples noses, and it WILL make money. Heaps of money. I got that bit all sorted. ..great service (and all that) ..but how to get people to look? NOW!?

Hmm, why do you not simply place your message in google adwords. . That will give you a nice steady flow of traffic,
pick out a few selected pay per click sites . . such as searchfeed.com goclick.com (whatever)

But handing out $2000 sounds far to drastic. . Sometimes if you get 5000 visitors a day for a week . . at the end of the week you suddenly realise that your wording is not quite hitting the spot . . When you do your adjustments you then find that you have wasted 30,000 hits.

Take it steady, get a little feedback on what is working before you take any deep plunges.

P.S. forget google adwords . . they do not accept sites with pop ups.

The site that I am speaking of is not newezone.

..and newezone never has popups. I just put them up for a day, do generate a few thousand credits for the site that I want to promote.

I have tried Google AdWords.. I didn't seen to get vety far, but that was over a year ago. Maybe I would be better at it now.

Yes, I guessed the reply was in a new thread.

Traffic is hard to get, it always has been. There are different methods for different catagories, I mean to say if you are selling webhosting. . you would go about it in a different way than you would with say 'Cotton socks'

an ad for webmaster would likely do better on this site. than 100 times the exposure on my site. on the other hand my site could sell a 1976 pontiac headlight in days. . I doubt that you would ever sell one on htmforums.com

Google is an all round traffic producer (the best) But it is not the best in a great number of specialised catagories, Give the folks here an indication of what your selling.

could be your answer is an email campagn.

There is no quick and easy method for high search engine placement.

If you want instant traffic with out the wait then use PPC, other than that it is a case of SEO.

Have you thought of:

Newspaper ads
Speacilist magazines ads
Email campaign
PPC campaign

Those are just a few that I could think of in a couple of minutes or so.

I also would read and follow this plan, it has been tried and tested a thousand times over (even by me) and it works :D 26 steps to 15k visits a day (http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm)

Hope this helps :)
