I've just noticed you have 984 members, and that pretty soon you're going the reach 1000!
I've haven't done this before, but I must commend who ever came up with the idea of htmlforums.

Thanks Dave,
HTMLforums.com has actually evolved over a pretty long time. It started out very tiny, as a small part of 123webmaster.com, and at first received about a post a week. Several months ago, the popularity began to pick up, so we decided to move it to it's own domain, Jacob picked out the name for this particular site.
The past 3 months have been especially active, however the past week since we installed the new vBulletin script has been absolutely explosive. The popularity of the forum seems to be picking up every day, and posts are piling on. I credit some of this to the features that this script has, such as emailing the poster when there is a reply, displaying who is on the forums, and showing post/member counts. I think people really like these features.
I hope that the forum will continue to grow, and although it's not a real cash maker, it happens to be my favorite site in the network. The ability to collaborate with so many people is very helpful, and it's always interesting to see another webmaster's take on any given subject.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words, we'll keep doing what we do, if you guys keep coming back :D

I think the admins, moderators, and some of the knowledgeable posters here deserve the credit. Yes, this is a nice board with some great features, but the reason I stuck around is because I've seen some of the other boards and the way people get treated. People's questions will be completely ignored, or they will get an answer but they will get comments indicating that they think the question was simpleminded. It's not like that here, it seems that everyone really makes an effort to help us newbies out without making us feel stupid. The best part is not only are all of you nice people but you really know this stuff. I know I can get real answers here. Keep up the good work and thanks!
