For those of you using Allaire Homesite, or Coldfusion, here is a way to quickly and easily check the stats of a web page-even if its not yours, or sitting on the internet somewhere!
Take the source code into the editor, click on "tools" and select "document weight."
This will give you a detailed report of file size, EACH gif/jpg size as well as the total "dependencies" size, the total document size, and estimates of download speeds for 14.4, 28.8, and 56k modems.
It recommends that most users will leave the site if content is not loaded in 10 seconds or less! Quick, easy, and it works!

10 seconds huh, well this page misses out then http://www.sportsfem.com . When it is half way loaded, it still tells you there is 72 items to go.... I sat on it for about 10 minutes and it had still not loaded...wheww

Boy have you got that right!
here some stats on the URL you posted....

page size=293k(even microsoft's page isnt that BIG!), 249k of that is graphics. Not to mention the layout......

The page would load in 46seconds on a 56k modem, assuming no net congestion whatsoever.

The page is a good example of overkill on graphics, and load time!
