Lol, well, I suppose it would depend on the chick! Ian would probably agree with you, although I suspect Brett would say that they dig Perl. However if you ask Jacob, he'll just tell you that they dig PHP. I personally feel though, that they dig big loud mouths :D

well i do, but i'm into all that stuff anyway so i suppose i don't count!

most of my friends wouldn't know what it was so i wouldn't start listing your javascript skills as a chat up line just yet :D

but all these surveys keep telling us that more and more girls are surfing the net so it's only a matter of time before programming languages are the next babe magnet LOL

you heard it here first!

well it seems the only chicks I meet relating to javascript are having problems and dont know an opening tag from a closing one. :)
Actually there is a female on the WA javascript forum that is very clued up on scripting and could teach most of us a thing or two!!
Jal, you dig javascript? we'll have to sit round the fire one night and swap codes ;) ... or Irish jokes, how do the Irish write javascript anyway?....oh um, better go, or the only thing I'll be digging is an early grave. :D
bye

I wasn't aware of the connection between women and javascript as a pick up line; however, I have noticed that when women are within earshot at work, the guy's I work with all of a sudden start spewing three and four letter work related acronym's! Anybody else notice this?

Technically it's true that *some* chicks dig javascript (and I feel uniquely qualified to respond here becuase I am a female AND Irish) but with one important caveat . . .

you have to be good at other things too. . . .

My daughter is the drummer in <<--THIS BAND-->> (http://www.ezmeralda.org/)

I must be getting old  I can't understand it :(
But I guess it is music. :rocker:
