an honest opinion please

Please view my site and give your honest opinion to me. I also need someone's advice on how to make my page have the same look by viewing it at different browers. For my preformatted text on my homepage looks find with Nestscape, but when I view it on IE, the fonts will change to an ugly font like Courier, even tho' I specified the font face=Georgia, Times New Roman, serif. I'd appreciate to have your comments and opinions. http://www.members.tripod.com/go.to/shakespeare

Hi May,

The &lt;PRE&gt; tag might be over-riding the FONT FACES you are using. Use non-breaking space character entities or &lt;LI&gt; tags instead of &lt;PRE&gt; to get the indentations you want.

Nice clean layout, easy to read. Good use of what is probably premade graphics.

The navigation scheme could be improved. Links back to the homepage or previous page are fine, but with just a little bit of work you could include links to all your pages on each page making the website easier to navigate.

Content is well managed. The subject could go on and on... might be perfect for what you declare on your homepage "Shakespeare at a Glance".

Site dedication is a very nice gesture. As a father myself it touched me to see that.

Overall, it's a nice effort for a personal website.

I like the color schemes and how the site is set up, it is very basic, but pulls off the shakespeare look
