i want to send a newsletter to a bunch of members of my site, and i don't want everyone's email address to be visible to everyone else. do i just put everyone in bcc???

In my knowledge, it will still show all people's e-mail address that you've sent them!
If you are using Yahoo!, Hotmail, or other popular e-mail service providers, I will suggest you to ADD all people you want to e-mail to in YOUR ADDRESS BOOK, and I believe you have the option to send the e-mail to the people in your address book, in this way their's e-maill address will be safe

If you want to send your members email, and u also want that they don't see each other email address, then your solution is very simple, all you have to do, is download free email list manager, add your members in it, you can also personalized your message by adding names and other data (depending on the software) and wallaa...! your problem is solved :D
