Hi,
I just started creating graphics two months ago and now I'm putting together a site with sets for people to download. I hope that some day I'll be great at this so I can make more professional looking graphics. I only have an index site so far and that one isn't ready yet (and the links don't work yet), but still I'd really appreciate it if someone would drop by my site and give me some thoughts and suggestions. Does the look and feel of the site spark your interest or does it just make you want to press your back button? I got feedback from *one* person who basically told me I have no talent whatsoever. Do you agree? Please visit me at http://www.karamellgraphics.com Thanks.

hi mellow,
don't listen to those who tell you that you have no talent! web design, particularly where graphics are concerned , is a very subjective area. there is room for lots of different styles - the more the merrier!
as for an overall impression of the site, i couldn't really form one since most pages have messages up saying they are not ready yet.
from the home page, i thought the colours and fonts were appropriate and i thought the look was quite professional. i got the impression that the graphics you make would tend to be quite traditional and classic. i wouldn't be expecting any modern or cutting edge sets. the traditional look is what many people with homepages are looking for - i am not criticising. all i am saying is that, if your sets are quite varied in style, i would consider having a more gerneral style of graphics on the main page. if on the other hand, the main page graphics are representative of the majority of your work, stick with it!
i think you have done a good job - you have achieved a clean, simple yet elegant look :)

Thanks for your feedback, Jalouda! Yes, I'm making very traditional graphics with "feminine" themes - no cutting edge here! *lol* It was kind of you to review my site, I appreciate it.
