When i create and save an image in paint shop pro it never displays when I try to insert it into dreamweaver, it just has a small cross. I have tried saving it in many formats but it still doesnt work even if I click on the 'preview in IE' button. Why can't I do this, its driving me mad! Any other images I have saved from the web or even from disk work perfectly, If anybody knows whats wrong i would be extremely grateful!

Thanks in advance,
Jonathanbull3

gif--jpeg?

Never seen a image displayed as a small cross

You have the image saved in the same file as the rest of your content?

sometimes an image will not display until after the files are all FTP'd

Not sure if it is a bug or what, can't say much since I don't use Dreamweaver.

hmmm..... not sure. Is the image saved as an internet graphic (gif, jpg, png)?

Attach an image that will not display to this thread if possible.

 I'm new to all this stuff but I have Paint Shop Pro 7. I know when I want to save something to be used in a page the gif or jpg optimizer should be used. Click on the optimizer button towards the top left of the screen and complete the screen to save it to your computer. Come to think of it, I recall trying to save a gif by using the file tab and then the save tab. It did the same thing for me. When I tried to load the image in a page it displayed the x. That's when I switched to using the optimizer to save all my images.
