How do i setup a pre buildet php web site like php nuke ore post nuke??

Arrg do you realy mean that. does php nuke/postnuke realy take that long to setup. i touhgt that thy got be steup ind 30min :(

if you use phpnuke or post nuke then yeah it sets up in 30 minutes or less. but you said like those programs. if you make them yourself you will be at it for months, but installing is different.

you ned to clarify that you want to install and not code one yourself.

Alrigt i was going in www.phpthemes.com there i downloadet a postnuke theme. now i ask how does it work. i just attache the file here then you can se it yourselv ;)

if you want to install a theme then you hav eto go into the admin section and install it. I never played with it so I don't know. I think Transmothra know how so if he sees this thread maybe he can help.

hey Maxsimus... Scoutt mentioned you could use some help... unfortunately, i can't give you that much help, because you won't need it.

to install a theme on php-nuke, just upload it to your server. make sure you put it into the "themes" directory.

yup, that's all. the 'nuke knows what's up and will do the rest. it should become instantly available for you to use.



p.s., make sure you have already uploaded and installed php-nuke itself FIRST. if you need help with that, there's a readme file and some more stuff in the docs folder. basically, just change the config.php file to your settings (database, host, username, password, etc.), upload it, then point your browser toward the path you uploaded it to. once again, the 'nuke is s**** enough to do the rest for you.

there's some excellent support forums for php-nuke, too. try nukesupport.com or nukeforums.com or nuke4newbie.org to start with.

Hey i have get it installet no but i got a problem i get a wierd message in POSTNUKE you can se it yourself at My POSTNUKE site (http://www.naforum.starthotel.dk/postnuke-phoenix-0.7.2.3/html/index.php) but i alsow have a phpnuke.

Installation of a theme:
1. Unzip File and upload both folders to the root directory.
2. Install phpbb2 port Template with the forum administration menu
3. Select Theme/Template from phpbb2 and phpNuke admin menu

All you have to do is read the readme file or installation guide or go to the site and read the help tutorials because they all say what to do.

Allright i install't the doom theme to the theme direktori. and when i after that goes ind for aktivate it. is it there as i shut be. i select doom insteadt of the default theme. but when i go down to the butten save changes. hit the butten and i get this message
