I want to make file on my website downloadable to viewers on request.
How do I do this, or where can I obtain the info.
I am a newcomer.

It is a good idea to .zip your files first for download also...unless its an .exe for a software program or ?
For images, fonts , sounds etc. its a good idea to zip! ie. http://www.yoursite.com/yourfile.zip
I use Winzip...EZ to use...has a zip Wizard
hope this helps...ziggy

Yup, good point. Zipping to reduce your file size not only saves you bandwidth, but it saves download time for the user as well!
