Hi Raptor,
At this point in time httpcity does not allow frontpage extensions (although it will inthe future). Not to worry though, there is a link to sign up for a free remotely hosted counter at the top of your members area. It is simple cut and paste code that you should have no problems with http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/smile.gif. Let me know how it goes.

Raptor,
Are you a member of the httpcity community? ie: is your homepage hosted by httpcity.com?

Hi raptor,
I looked at your profile and the url you list there as your home page is not at httpcity, so I am assuming you are not a httpcity member.
The easiest way for you to add a counter is probably to choose from one of the many free remotely-hosted services available. Basically, you sign up, choose from a number of counter styles etc, and then copy and paste a short bit of code into your page (wherever you want the counter to appear). Once you upload your page, your counter should work.
I currently use a counter from http://www.sitemeter.com and I have been very pleased with their service to date. I have also used http://www.thecounter.com and http://counter.mycomputer.com before. But there are load of others out there too and it might be worthwhile comparing the features of a few so that you can decide which will give you the statistics you are most interested in. Many providers will even send you a weekly report by e-mail.
I don't use Frontpage, but I have heard that when copying and pasting code, it is a good idea not to do so by editing in Frontpage, because Frontpage might change the counter code later and then it won't work. So if you are having trouble getting the counter to work, you may need to view the source code of your page in notepad etc and paste the code directly in there instead.
Best of luck,
Jalouda

Hi
The original question was that you were not able to view the "hit counter" added by you using FP adding the number dynamically when viewed offline in a browser, am I right?
The reason is this extension of FP will start working only after you publish your page to your server. Of, course if your server or space provider run FP extensions.
You have 2 alternatives:
1. You can get a link to counter providers (as suggested by the good folks) like counter bloke,Hitometer etc, or
2. Get a link to a hosted script from sites like Hosted Scripts (http://www.hostedscripts.com/)
Hope I have also made a contribution
Meanwhile, how to add an emotican icon in the middle of a message?

RE: emoticans
You draw them ascii, like you would in an email, and the UBB will convert it into a picture.
I've never played around with a full extent of them other than the smiely, but I guess now is a good as time as any to try them out:

I'm sure not all of these will be recognized.

Kichu,
I read that other post of yours:
http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/Forum7/HTML/000030.html
Then I checked the FAQ myself http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/smile.gif
Looks like there are just 2 more then
4. http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/redface.gif colon, small o
5. http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/biggrin.gif colon, bid D

Thanks Mr. Jason.
I found some animated emoticons in a similar bulletin board. Can you have them installed here too.
Incidentally, I found the name Jason over there too as an admin.- is it you, by any chance?
