Not sure if this is the place to ask, but has anyone seen any good articles that discuss large image/graphic migration projects? Could you point me to them?

I need to migrate 100's (possibly 1000's) of graphics, develop new directory structures and develop consistent file name conventions. Fun, huh?

Anyone had to do this? Got any advice on how to get started? What problems did you run into? Anything would be appreciated.

Hi there!

I had to sort out my PC folders recently, full of rubbish! The best way, I found, was to stuff it all onto a CDRW then relocate it into its new folders.
