Sorry krazyjoe,

The sad fact is that there is no method of stopping people from taking anything that you put on the web. Your only protection is to copyright your work. Once a person views or hears your files, then they are already downloaded to the surfer's computers. The only kind of anti-leach protection is the elimination of hotlinking to files on your server. This is only helpful if you pay for your bandwidth.

As I was saying, nothign can truly be protected. Your image is sliced, so I just took a small part of it to show that it can be done: http://htmlforums.com/web_eyes.gif

Sound files are even easier to grab. There's always a way around image protection.

Aliaz, if you are uncomfortable with having your copyrighted work linked to like that, let me know, and I will take it down. I just wanted to show you an example of how easily it can be downloaded.

This topic is very popular these days. Fact is, there is no way to protect your files. People who persist will find a way to get it somehow.
