just tell them they are (something) in a (opposite of something) way. Such as:
You are ugly in a cute way.

The gears in their head will burn up trying to figure out what you mean.

A better way of getting someone confused/frustrated is to do this:

1. Pick a victim.. *ahem* I mean subject
2. Get any and all people who have personal contact with that person to call them "Boo" instead of by their proper name.
3. Don't tell anyone why - just tell them to do it and so-and-so is in on it - they won't want to miss out then.

My sister went crazy for the 6 weeks that I did this to her (I was 19, she was 17). She asked everyone (including me) why everyone else was calling her "Boo".

She went crazier with the answer I gave at the end my torture.. I mean experiment!
