Hi everyone

I am new to this board. I just have a question about how to deal with people who upload your javascript software to their server without permission -or- with the promise to pay you but payment never comes. You see, this happened to me. I sold a license to upload and use one of my javascript internet programs to a company and all I've heard are a lot of excuses including the ever-famous "the_check_is_in_the_mail" excuse. I worked extremely hard on this program and it looks
like unless you can afford and $800.00 per hour lawyer or want to have your face dragged through months of litigation, you are powerless to do anything. I contacted several anti-piracy sites and they want you to pay them a $10.000 "membership fee" before they will take any action..what do I do?. This is so frustrating because here this person is making my software available to the entire world at my expense and who will pay for my hard work when
customers can simply go there and get it for nothing?. Also, I've tried contacting the company that hosts the site and it turns out that this person owns their own server so I have noone to turn to now.
