View Full Version : Download Problem with Audio

I have a .wav file I want to play automatically when a page loads. In the <embed> tag I have autostart set to true. The problem is that the music starts to play before the file is completely downloaded, and the sound is a mess (broken up, full of static). After the file is downloaded and the viewer returns to the page, the music plays fine. Any ideas on how I can prevent the music from starting until the download is complete? Help would be appreciated.
Hi, can you please post the url with the sound embedded on it, I would like to take a look and may be able to offer a few suggestions.
Thanks.

Thanks for your interest. You can find a sample at: www.bostonboychoir.org/test-audio.html (http://www.bostonboychoir.org/test-audio.html)
Incidentally no music at all plays in Netscape. The problem I mentioned about the downloading of the .wav file occurs in IE.
