I use adobe photoshop 5.0 and it is to put it lightly, a pain in the butt. Neither netscape or explorer reconizes the extension .psd When I put an image in a webpage it always comes up with a broken image. I've changed it .gif and it comes up fine. There were 2 problems with that 1)I don't have the program to fo that anymore. 2) It didn't stay transparent. Is there any program that can either 1)make netscape reconize .psd
2) allow me to create images in photoshop with a .jpeg or .gif

In photoshop you can export a psd file as gif.
Just go to File:Export:Gif89a
To make it transparent hide the bg layer and export it.
To define the default transperancy color for complex graphics you can set it in the export gif dialog box.

OK, good tip I saw posted on htmlforums for *.psd.
I have several *.psd files that have multiple graphics (interfaces from freewebtemplates.com) How do I get to those so I can edit them separately? I use netobjects fusion and I need to set the individual files IN the *.psd as one of my SiteStyles...
Any help is appreciatd

The gif in photoshop doesen`t support more than 256 colors... so if you have a background color with a color outside the 256... you will need to save it as .jpg goto save as a select jpg
