Actually, Jason gets the credit for this post as he sent the link to me, but I think it is worthy to share around, so...
let me introduce to you the AFDB. What is it you ask? Here is the answer.

Quote:
An Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie (AFDB) is a type of headwear that can shield your brain from most electromagnetic psychotronic mind control carriers. AFDBs are inexpensive (even free if you don't mind scrounging for thrown-out aluminium foil) and can be constructed by anyone with at least the dexterity of a chimp (maybe bonobo). This cheap and unobtrusive form of mind control protection offers real security to the masses. Not only do they protect against incoming signals, but they also block most forms of brain scanning and mind reading, keeping the secrets in your head truly secret. AFDBs are safe and operate automatically. All you do is make it and wear it and you're good to go! Plus, AFDBs are stylish and comfortable.

Actually, the cheapest method for preventing mind-control is to not drink alcohol.

It has been noted that on many occasions people have used alcohol merely as a way to get others to do things.

It has been commonly used as a date-rape drug by women. It intoxicates the unfortunate target, who then believes that the woman in question is several degrees more attractive than she really is. It is only when the man wakes up the next day that he realises his mistake.

It is also used by other men to encourage their peers into doing something totally stupid that they wouldn't do otherwise. Karaoke is a prime and evil example of this.

Finally, it has come to my belief that the establishments who sell alcohol are in cahoots with so-called fast food burger bars and kebab vans. The latter only seem to open in the later hours of the day, after people have been likely to have frequented the former for some time.
The fast food places then sell something that, for want of a better word, must be called food. Although, it is usually something that not even a goat would eat.
The reason I bring this up is, that without the mind-controlling effects of alcohol, those poor people would not even be able to stomach walking towards a kebab van, let alone make a purchase from one.

Well Horus, I don't know where that thought leaked out of:D

So are you trying to say that all women who drink, sing karaoke and eat fast food should wear an Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie?:D

You didn't read my post properly - it is the men who are the unfortunate souls who are most affected by the mind-control of alcohol.

Besides, I think I was still under the mind-control of last night's beverages. :D

Now this is interesting...
if 'hacker' had actually worn his original (but persumbly non-patented) invention they would not have been able to read his mind ??!!

Makes me wonder if there's a similar device to do the opposite. Seem's like I'm expected to read minds around here and it sure would be a great gift idea. ;)

there is - it is called Regurgitix PostQuoter.

All politicians have one installed where they claim to have said what you just said - even if you were disagreeing with them.

This does of course sometimes conflict with the Keep To Your Guns software that many politicians run, but Microsoft said that there will be a patch for it soon.

This explains me singing Tone Loc's WILD THANG last night at the bar....

"The corrosive force of the mighty Pacific Ocean is no match for the AFDB. As an added bonus, electric fields generated by the interaction of aluminum and salt water may act as a shark deterrent."

Have a swim around with a few Great Whites next time huh, I'd like to know if it works or not:D

I actually don't go swimming cause those under water cretures have amazing powers and can get through a weak AFDB. If you really must know I will go swimming in mine as it's rather powerful and let you know how it went. I will also be taking some pictures of it soon.

Yeh, yeh. Sure, sure Jason - whatever.

Now back to the real topic at hand. I think that maybe they stole your idea for the AFDB Paul when you took it off to have your portrait done for your avatar.
