Favicon trouble

Is there a way to insert the favicon on all pages of the site when the user bookmarks your site...also is there a way to insert an icon in place of the default IE icon regardless if they have added you site to thier favorites list??
any suggestions???

Hi, you can include <link REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="http://www.YOUR-URL.com/favicon.ico"> to each page, this will ensure that IE5 checks for your icon when the page is bookmarked (a lot of work if you have a big site).
Unfortunitly IE5 ONLY checks for the icon when the page is being added to your favorite list, thats not to say it can't be inserted dynamically when the page loads or something, IE seems to be capible of lots of little tricks if you only knew what !! however I haven't seen or heard of a way.
