shopping basket thingy

plz help...totally lost.
trying to create a shopping basket type thing but for free samples.
need to be able to add items to an order form on a seperate page by clicking image or link.
plz keep it simple as possible as i only got a basic understanding of html ...not a clue bout javascript.

Shopping Carts are not an easy thing to develop. You will almost certainly need to use a server-side language to implement one properly (arguably javascript could do it). It doesn't sound as though you are too experienced and so I would suggest either locating a pre-made script from somewhere like www.hotscripts.com or posting a message in the Acquire Skills forum and seeing if someone is prepared to write one for you (for a fee).

thanks torrent, already had a look at some sites offering shopping baskets.
point is i wanna learn how its done, been reading various tutorials but no scripts exactly what i need.
all i want is to be able to put text into my existing e mail form by clickling an object. Stuff i've been looking at on websites is too complicated as it involves calculating prices whereas i'm offering free samples.
