Embedding mp3 file

Hi,

I want to an mp3 file to load every time I start my page(local).

I am using the bgsound tag:

<BGSOUND SRC="filename" LOOP="1">

but this is not playing the file properly in IE5. I have tried the same file on another PC and it plays properly.

I hope anyone can help me.

Is it possible that the computer that doesn't play the MP3 does not have a MP3 player, such as winamp?

Hi Jason,

The computer doesn't have Winamp installed, but I've got Windows Media Player 7 which also plays mp3 files.

Do I have to have an mp3 specific player installed?
