Javascript - pull down menu help!

Hi,
I'm new to this site, and I need some help! I used a1javascript to create a pulldown menu of links (it works fabulously), but I've run into an aesthetic problem. My site's colorscheme is purple (9900cc) on black. Is there any way I can change the background and text colors on the menu? Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

add this line of code to your SELECT tag
you can edit the colors to suit you.
