Hi, I've set up a mailing list a while ago and have been collecting email addresses (about 400 so far, but is growing daily), but now is time to start doing something with them. I would like to start sending HTML emails to everyone once or twice a week, but I'm not sure what the best way to do this is.
I have never used programs for sending bulk emails (with attachments) and wondered if there was a preferred method or system for mailing out with the least ammount of hassle.
The system I've employed to collect the email addresses just writes them to a .TXT file - I will obviously have to import this into whichever program I use to send the mails.
Can anyone throw some light onto this subject for me...PLEASE...
Rob.

http://www.bravenet.com have an excellent mailing lsit service, in terms of ease of use. It is free, but comes with ads. Alternatively you could go for their 'pro' service, with no ads.
Or try these: (PERL mailing list services.)

They should be pretty simple to use, and complete your requirements.

You can download the article I wrote regarding your Ezine Choices if you'd like. It's a Word 2000 document. If your puter doesn't know that file, lmk and I'll send it to you in a text file.

Isn't it great that links in Word 2000 are clickable <g>. Makes all the resources I listed a bit easier to get to!
Enjoy and let me know which one you choose. I'd be interesting in knowing why you choose it, too. I enjoy learning what's important to others, too.
I use MOJO, however, there is a bug and bounces don't show up as bounces. Otherwise, it's an interesting free cgi script.

You may wish to try SonicMailer Plus, it is an EXCELLENT mailing list manager. Of course it is one of our own products, however, as an individual, I use it and love it!
