Need help with FrontPage Forms
Have designed a form to collect personal data and wish that data to be sent to me via my e-mail address and then change to another page to say Thank You for your info. But for some reason, despite following all the instructions in FP, all I get is an error message saying can't do.
Can anyone out there help me?
Is there another prog which is easier or better than FP?
Cheers, all

To do this, you need a cgi script of your own or you have a remoted-hosted cgi scripts.

By using only HTML can't send information to your own e-mail box, because the only sending mail script supported by HTML is "mail-to"

If you want another program, try Micromedia's DreamWeaver 4.0
or another program not by Micromedia call "HomeSite 4.5"

You should get a form e-mailer script from remoted-hosted cgi script webmaster service since they are easier to achieve

go to http://www.bravenet.com and sign up and use their free cgi script to fulfill your purpose here...

uhhh Micromedia???? it is Macromedia and they also make Homesite. don't use premade programs to do what you want. in the long run you will have so many problems with them and then you will rely on Notepad to do it all. CGI is the best way to go but you can't get a good script to send email though dreamweaver or frontpage.
