I want to start a website that supports HTML editting, but I'm not sure which one is the best. I've used Geocities before, but I hate the pop-up(s) that it gives you. I also used to use FortuneCity, but I can't seem to find the editor anymore. Can anyone help me?

GeoCities is the best one for what you're talking about. you won't find any *free* hosts worth their salt who don't do pop-ups these days.

your best bet is to get a decent HTML editor (such as Notepad!) and do it offsite using the host of your choice (pick one! all the free ones suck!), uploading using a control panel or FTP.

Try www.sphosting.com . I use Sphosting. It had a great file manager and many ad ons. The editor itself has many ads, but your website will be ad free. So that's a good deal. And also, sphosting gives 35 MB. All this is free!
