We recently launched our webmaster resource directory.
Offering a wide range of webmaster categories. If you have a website which falls into one of the categories listed, submit an 'addme' email & we'll list you. You don't have to be a member, disregard that. (we'de like.. but not required) we mainly want quality webmaster resources !
By having "quality" links inbound too your site, it also enhances your engine rank!

Does that mean low-quality links don't help - at all?
I get - well, I'll just leave it at that (mom taught me well - if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.. a-hem!)}:-)

"QualityLinks" Jen = valid good sites which 'balance' with your site.. sites which provide content related to your site content.
I'ts imperative that the inbound links to your site, as a webmaster should be descretely choosen & solicited.
Yes, Quality inbound links to your site will IMPROVE your engine rank in a great way.

tough call..
i guess i would do a www.marketleap.com research on the site to see how well it's indexed & how many inbound links it has.. (check who's linking too them) and then make my judgement from that point..
continue to search for quality.. and you in turn will rec' quality targeted visitors.

Hi Sitetutor,
I do have some excellent links - and some not-so-excellent, but my dilemna comes in that I hope having my link on their pages will also help bring in traffic. Is this in vain do you think? (It's a recipe thing is what it is)I have several link swaps with gals who just do this more or less as a hobby or past-time and their sites ah...well, show it

no.. it is not in vain.. i would encourage you to allow anyone to link too you that is willing too, as long as the site doing the 'linking' is in balance/simular type content. because, this is your 'targeted traffic'
Keep Linking! :D

Whew, thanks SiteTutor! That's the way I was seeing it - although I do confess I wondered sometimes if someone visits their sites in return if it could reflect badly on mine but the more I thought it through, the more I thought that that shouldn't really matter. Then I saw this discussion and became concerned. I just want my link anywhere and everywhere I can put it! :D
