The yanks in the world cup, and not doing too bad and you don't cover it. Oh well.

Anyway, you site is ok. The only thing that strikes me is that your page logo is out done by the advertising above it. Doesn't look good. I would even suggest moving your page logo to the top of the page. I don't use banner advertising, and never will. So if your banner advertiser demands that this be the case, ie at the top of the page... I would drop em for a better banner deal.

Ok, this is just my opinon, but I think that your message bord is ok, but the other page is a bit too crowded, ie, there are links all over the place.

One easy way to fix this would be to use a menu system, ie, the microsoft web site has the main heading, and when you hover over the heading, it shows you all the links you can go to in there, or, you could have a drop down menu, like the ones on this page wehre you post a message (for size, font and color). This would un-clutter your site heaps, and you would only need the side bar on the left with about 5 or 6 lines :D

Just my views though, you should wait for more people to say anything before taking my advice though! lol:rolleyes:

I agree with entimp, you need to move that banner, your own banner/page heading should always be at the top. I also think your site could do with a few more images to liven it up.

There are far too many links at the top of the message board, so I think you should take Mage's advice and sort out the navigation on this page. If possible I also think you should try and integrate the forum more with your site - at the moment it definately looks like two seperate entities.

Other than that, keep up the good work and I hope your team does well.

Yes, I cant stand sites which I go into and there are links everywhere!, Yahoo is HORRIBLE, I took one look at it, spent about 5 mins looking for one link in the nest of links at the top, found it and it didnt work, so I have neva been back again!

Also, you dont want to try to squash all your links into too few catagorys, if you have only a coupple of cats, then it is hard to find relevant catogries for links to go into, and then when a user goes to your site, they might not be able to find that link and leave, so I guess what I'm trying to say is, dont have too many links all over the place, but dont squash them all up too much, you still need to be able to find what your after!:rocker:

You can't stand yahoo because there are links everywhere? I thought that was the point... anyway.

As a rule of thumb and keeping your punters happy you should bare this in mind when authoring a web page.

Your punters (viewers) will rarely go more than 3 levels deep into your web page. So keep the bulk of your content on the 2nd or 3rd level into a site.

As for navigation, try to aim for 6 or 7 major roots for navigation and don't expand each one too much. You will only bore or confuse your potential viewers. I agree in most with the previous comments.
