although you don't have to download a patch for this one, I think it is a good idea to plug it up. not many people use it but if you do it is recommended to use this fix for IE5.5 and IE6

This is the reason why i no longer use MS products any more, too many bugs/security problems. when i was using windows i got hacked 5 times (that i know of) and i was running a firewall, now im running linux everything is good.
at the very least dont use IE/outlook too buggy.

don't think that if Linux and Netscape were on top of the market that hackers wouldnt be spending all their time getting in/ exploiting things.
Granted windows has its share of problems, but problems or not... its still king of the hill.

also Netscape just had a big whole in thier browser. so it's just not IE.

an update to this hole, it turns out that it is IE5.01 IE5.5 and IE6 and some MS servers are vulnerable as well.
