Where to start

I have been contemplating jumping into an e-biz venture.

The question I have is where to start.

Is there any books or websites that cover step by step proven procedures out there that you would recommend?

I have registered a domain name and I have ideas for products to sell to a planned targeted market.

I would take a look at the services that paypal has to offer, they can provide both a payment solution and shopping cart/store display solutions. Open up a free account with them (I would suggest opting the business account, not the personal account). Play around with adding products and get comfortable with the system.

I found a book this weekend while in Colorado visiting the family.
"Making Money in Cyberspace" By: Paul & Sarah Edwards.

Not sure if it will be very helpful or not, hopefully it will detail some of the do's and don'ts.

I plan on trying to find merchandise at wholesale prices to sell retail to motorcyclists.

I registered a domain name which I think has a catchy name which is one of the most important things to start with.

Just have a splash index page up for now.
