Anyone tried http://www.KeywordExchange.com? Just came accross them the other day. Interesting, original idea...

Do you think it's worth trying?

Any fast way to traffic is a good way. I figure it's worth a try.

I did it for a couple months and didn't notice any difference, but I don't want to put it down, either, as it could very well be the topic of my site - pretty crowded field...

Sorry, haven't been back to htmlforums in ages. I agree, I found Keyword-Exchange useless and dropped them about two days after making that post for the simple reason that not many people use them. The keywords (combined) only generate something like 250 hits a day (click here for proof: http://www.keywordexchange.com/top.php )

If you are looking for text link exchanges, I'd recommend http://www.txtswap.com. Not that I've tried them, but i know people who use them and get good results.

cheers...

Thank you for posting that - I can't deny I was glad to see it didn't work for someone else! I noticed zero results...

Thanks also for that other link. I looked that site over pretty thoroughly and it doesn't sound bad - bookmarked it and may try it, but am wondering if anyone else is using it and if so, how it's doing? Tx!

Either service would likely be more effective if it gave "naked links" instead of "tracked links". The naked links across many sites, if used correctly, could help increase rankings in the search engines. For example, if you linked to petstore.com using the text "free goldfish", then petstore.com would gain a higher page rank in some search engines when the term "free goldfish" was searched for.
