Hi,

I wanted to know from where and how can i install UNIX on my win. pc
is it free or does it cost anything?Is there any inst. cd or it can happen jus t on the web

Are you sure your looking for Unix rather than linux which is little different than unix but it's usually what people want.

Most of the Unix distros are free. Installation CD:s are free to download.

One good Unix distro is solaris (http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/)
Most popular linux distro would be ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com)
