I've heard that Visual Interdev is a good tool to build websites. I'm not developing professional websites but I'd like it. Is Visual Interdev a good choice? I'd like to know what are the alternatives.

Hi Cyrano,
That's a new one to me, do you have a site that it is posted at? I use Netscape Composer myself (in the communicator package). It's got some bugs, but it sually gets the job done, and it's free.
ALso, HotDog, and HotMetal are suppose to be handy for authoring.

Well, that is also a bit new to me. I know very little about V ID. Hot Metal & Hot Dog are good, also Arachnophilia is a good basic editor that seems to wirk well. I know that Microsoft has some great tutorials on V ID, that might be the pace to start.

DreamWeaver and Adobe GoLive are, arguably, the best HTML editors. However, both cost a ton, so Hotdog, HotMetal or CoffeeCup is a reasonable choice.
