Welp, I'm finally going to spring for a new computer, this 233 mhz, 32 meg ram 1982 POS is no longer going to cut it. When I load up on my software, do you think I should opt for Office 2000, or will my does my office 97 have a few good years left in it? Is the upgrade worth it people?

Well Jason,

I have Office 2000, and I can tell you, it's not really any greater then 97, though i does have some nice addons. Onw thing that bothered me is it's ablity to "learn" your habits. For example: You use the File_Save command a lot so it automaticly moves Save to the top of the file menu...(Nice, but freaky).

That's my two cents.

Whatdya know! Among several other software suites, my new compaq (yes compaq) will come pre installed with the office suite. I'm sure glad that I'll have the priveledge of having my privacy invaded by Microsoft in new and exciting ways!

Speaking of Microsoft, has anyone come by any good easter eggs lately?

For easter eggs, go to: Eeggs.com (http://www.eeggs.com). Whether you should upgrade, I think you should. That's my 2cents, BTW, does anyone know how to put the 'cents' symbol, I always wanted to find out. Thanks. :)
