I found an incredible html client a couple of months ago. Unfortunatly my computer got a bug and my entire harddrive was washed out. The html editor was a commercial version but was completly free. I donot remember the name of it. If anybody has the slightest idea what the heck I'm talking about caould tell me if it is still available for downloading. If it is not can anyone suggest a new (possibly free download) html editor.

I am familiar with both of those. How ever they are basically WYSISYG webpage builders. I am looking for something I have a little more control in. I am currently using arachnophilia. This is a good program but it is not the one I'm looking for.

I feel like we're playing 20 questions http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/biggrin.gif Is it bigger than a bread box? I mean, do you remember anything about how the GUI looked?

It's about the size of an eclipse. And I think it's blue.
The name is something like cool___ or something like that. It was a full version that was given out free. It wasn't the beta version. Am I the only one that got this software?

I have no idea there. But you gave us a better idea with the cool____something part. About half the editors I know of start with that... :)
Ok Jason, your turn. Next 20 questions please.

The best HTML editor IMO is DreamWeaver Ultradev, although I tested Adobe Go live 5 and I must say it is very nice, and much easier!
The easiest to use, especially for people used to MS applications is FrontPAge 2000, but I don't like FP2K, so my pick is either Go live 5 or DreamWeaver Ultradev!

Of course Dreamweaver's nice, it cost me $219. Adobe GoLive, I tried, but since it was $284 I dared not buy it. It also nice though.
